Oregon PCT Day 2

Day 2 started the same way that Day 1 ended, totally socked in and surprisingly chilly. This was already a very different hike than our idyllic Washington section where we had nothing but blue skies and sun for 100 miles.

SO MUCH CHEESE
Wild strawberries! This was just before we got to a highway crossing with a trash can so we could dump all of the stuff we had not intended to bring with us. I do hate throwing away books though so I left Me Before You in the outhouse…it’s a good bathroom book.
On the way to Mordor….apparently.
