Bahia Gardner, Espanola

I thought the beach before this was full of sea lions, but Espanola was next level. Not only full of sea lions but the sand was perfectly white, it was like having a sea lion photography studio! The best part was we had all afternoon to hang out at the beach, but everyone except me and one other person went back to the boat almost an hour before they had to, so I basically had 100 sea lions all to myself.

This was only half the beach!

This mockingbird seemed very frustrated that everyone was napping.
For fun, the sea lions would lie on the edge of the surf and let the waves carry them up the beach, then roll back down to catch the next big wave. These two were completely synchronized.
